Why Allied Litho

Because Some Jobs Can’t Afford Instability.
And Neither Can the People Responsible for Them.

Large format capacity. Structured flexibility. Production discipline when the details matter.

Built for the Work That Stretches Most Facilities

Not every commercial printer can run oversized sheets, complex packaging components, and high-volume offset work under tight timelines.

Our 73” Manroland 900 XL and 56” Manroland 900 presses allow us to handle expanded sheet sizes many facilities simply can’t accommodate. Our KBA RA106 runs up to seven colors plus aqueous and or UV coating, with the ability to create high gloss and dull contrast in a single pass.

That combination means scale and finish control in the same building.

But equipment alone isn’t the differentiator.
People and processes are.

Structured to Stay Steady When Variables Change

Commercial printing rarely follows a straight line.

Files get revised.

Quantities shift.

Substrates behave differently.

Deadlines move up.

Image

We operate three shifts within a 24-hour production cycle, but more importantly, our press operators are cross-trained across machines. That allows us to shift production when priorities change without creating bottlenecks or confusion.

Flexibility without structure leads to chaos.
Flexibility with structure protects the schedule.
That’s how complex jobs stay under control.

Problems Don’t Get Buried Here

One of the fastest ways a print job derails is when issues go unaddressed until press time. We’ve all seen how that ends.

That’s why we review specs early and prepress evaluates files thoroughly. Potential conflicts are flagged before plates are made, not after.

If something needs clarification, we say so.
If a timeline needs adjustment, we communicate it clearly.

Clients don’t come to us for surprises. They come to us to avoid them.

Production Partner, Not Commodity Vendor

Many of our clients are commercial printers themselves.

They trust us with overflow capacity, expanded sheet sizes, and technically demanding applications because we operate as a partner, not a competitor.

We think downstream. We consider finishing tolerances during press setup. We align production strategy with the final use of the piece.

That approach has defined Allied Litho for decades and it’s something we still hold each other accountable to every day.

Control from Ink to Finish

Color consistency and finish detail matter, especially in packaging and brand-critical work.

We operate under G7 and GRACoL standards with in-house prepress oversight. Our custom ink room allows us to mix brand-specific inks on-site and respond quickly without waiting on outside suppliers.

In-house trimming up to 110 inches and continuous feed folding support commercial volume. Specialty finishing is coordinated through long-standing partners we trust.

Everything stays aligned from first proof to final delivery.

Compliance and Credibility Built In

We operate as a union-certified commercial printer and maintain FSC and SFI certifications.

For national packaging programs and procurement teams, compliance is expected. We’re structured to meet those standards consistently.

That credibility isn’t new. It’s been built over decades of supporting trade clients and national accounts.

Midwest Discipline. Nationwide Reach.

Based in Kansas City, we serve clients across the country.

Being centrally located supports efficient distribution. Being operationally disciplined keeps clients coming back.

Most of our business comes through referral. That’s not accidental. It’s earned.

What Clients Actually Value

Clients don’t just judge the final piece, they judge the experience
getting there.

Clients consistently choose Allied Litho because we:

Stay calm when specs shift

Flag issues early instead of covering them

Protect timelines under pressure

Maintain repeatable color consistency

Keep communication direct and steady

Anyone can run a clean job. The difference shows up when the job gets complicated.

Why Allied Litho FAQs

What truly sets Allied Litho apart from other commercial printing companies?

Our large format sheet capacity, seven-color offset flexibility, cross-trained operators, disciplined prepress review, and 24-hour production structure allow us to stabilize complex work that many facilities struggle to manage.

When the Work Has to Hold Up

There are plenty of commercial printers in the market.

Fewer are built around structure, cross-trained production staff, early issue flagging, and disciplined execution under pressure.

When a project can’t afford instability, it needs a team built for control.
That’s where Allied Litho operates.
